The Sigma Xi Zeta Youth program was launched  in 2006 to engage young girls in the Research Triangle Area to develop academically, acquire 21st century leadership skills and social graces, pursue entrepreneurship, and provide service to and for others.  Pearlettes, age 4-8, Amicettes, age 9-13, and Archonettes, age 14 - 18 are Sigma Xi Zeta’s youth auxiliary groups.    Programs are designed for young girls who are willing to strive toward the high ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and who demonstrate potential for leadership and service to the community. Programs offer the opportunity for young ladies to excel spiritually, socially, educationally and culturally.

Members meet on a monthly basis and participate in planned activities.   Archonettes and Amicettes also coordinate a yearly program that they plan and implement.  Each group  advisor has been trained, certified by our national organization and has completed a thorough criminal background check.

Our youth provide service activities and projects throughout the Morrisville-Research Triangle Area.  Among these projects are roadside clean-up, March of Dimes Walk, Adopt-A-Family, planting herbal gardens at Luther Green Center, tree planting along the ball field, trick-a-trunk, delivering Meal on Wheels, collecting coats for the Winter Coat Drive and delivering holiday meals and gifts to members of the Over and Under Club.

We encourage young girls and their parents to contact Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Sigma Xi Zeta Chapter for more information and the application process.
